actor Nathan Head - photo by Martin Nuza ProductionsActor Nathan Head is best known for his role as Trinculo the killer clown in the horror film Theatre of Fear and for playing Officer Heinrich Berger in the third installment of Netflix’s popular Robert the Doll series, Robert and the Toymaker. Based in Chester, in the North West of England, Nathan has built a career spanning two decades, with several of his films achieving notable chart success. Robert and the Toymaker ranked in Tesco, Morrisons, and HMV charts and was featured on Sky Cinema in the UK via Sky Store. Theatre of Fear debuted at number 19 in Asda’s DVD charts, remaining in the top 40 for two weeks, while the dinosaur mockbuster Jurassic Predator, released by Sony Pictures, reached number 2 in HMV’s DVD Premiere charts. Nathan’s other screen credits include Virus of the Dead, Artifacts of Fear, Ouijageist, ITV’s Crime Stories, Robot Wars: Battling On, 88 Films’ Hellriser, Bill & Ted Face the Music, The Damned United, BBC’s long-running soap Doctors, Ip Man 4, and Troma’s first Grindsploitation film in their long-running anthology series. He continues to work steadily in film and television, having recently completed scenes for Dracula: Rise of the Vampire, a new installment set fifty years after The Satanic Rites of Dracula.

Nathan Head originally trained in Manchester, attending acting classes at the Northern Actors Centre, whose patrons included Sarah Lancashire, Shobna Gulati, and Brigit Forsyth. He later honed his craft through regular workshops at various studios while building his credits in local independent productions and fringe theatre. After working on the cult BBC sci-fi series Doctor Who, Nathan gained recognition for his role in the five-star comedy play Battered Egos at Salford Arts Theatre in 2008. This performance led to him being cast as the antagonist Raymond Korkinsky in the award-winning comedy film Mark Macready and the Archangel Murders, which was praised as "British independent film at its best" and became an overnight success. The film secured a limited UK cinema release, supporting Someone's Knocking at the Door over Halloween weekend in 2009, with scenes broadcast on regional television before screening at the prestigious 63rd Festival de Cannes in 2010. Nathan also lent his voice to a character in the animated spinoff Mark Macready: Underworld Tales. The success of The Archangel Murders cemented Nathan’s reputation as a genre actor. The following year, he began collaborating with Europe's largest scare entertainment production company, AtmosFEAR! Entertainment Group. He portrayed Gauntley the Butler in their FEARooms immersive experience video and, under heavy prosthetic makeup, modeled as the mummy Khamundi for Terror Tomb: Curse of Khamundi at Scare Kingdom theme park in Lancashire. Shortly after his work with AtmosFEAR!, Nathan starred in the Time Warner Cable mockbuster Exorcist Chronicles, which led to an appearance on the BBC, where he discussed his career in the horror genre and his growing transatlantic popularity.
